In the daytime an easy going Ethiopian Restaurant, Dass turns after sunset into a vibrant Hip Hop Home where the warriors of the Nairobi Hip Hop Underground meet up and showcase eachother their latest works. Hip Hop is a big thing in Kenya, though with a sharp divide in contemporary Hip Hop between the blings and the bling-nots, aka the celebs and not-celebs, places like Dass is where the true Hip Hop spirit keeps on burning.
